Our sunflower started blooming before the trip, which is nice because I was afraid I was going to miss it.
I rented a
Tokina 11-16 lens for the trip for $63 dollars which I am also excited about. I wanted to buy it but I couldn't justify spending the money. On the other hand, $60ish dollars seems quite reasonable for a week of enjoyment.
I'm a little worried about leaving Addy, but I'm sure she'll be OK. We've been trying to tell her that "Mommy and Daddy are going to Aruba" without telling her what exactly Aruba is so as not to disappoint her. The other night Addy asked Kristi; "Is Aruba like Florida?" Kristi says she just didn't answer...
