Fall is here.

I love fall. There is a totally different dynamic to running when it isn't 100 degrees outside. It's almost like you just have to suffer through the summer to get to the enjoyable running months. Hopefully I'll get some hiking in this year.

In other news...this is what a box looks like when it returns home after an ebay buyer gives you the wrong address and you send it to the wrong country.

A Hilton Head Tradition

We spent this week in Hilton Head Island, courtesy of my parents. We have gone to HHI at least once, usually at least twice a year since we were children and it is always a place I love to go back to. The food is good, the beach is beautiful, and the island is quite serene. Addy enjoyed everything from boat rides, to bike rides, to sand castles this week. Unfortunately it was a little rainy at the beginning because of Hurricane Isaac, but I guess that allowed me to stay in and do some homework. This is my last semester (hopefully) and I will be thrilled to finish. I took some interesting pictures. I think the thing I would most like to improve is the percentage of pictures that end up being keepers. For some reason I always end up with alot of noise in many of my pictures. Even in the ones with 100 ISO while the camera was on a tripod. I don't know if it is the lens or what...but it bugs me a little. It could be my editing I suppose. Anyways, some pictures I have HDR and normal versions of and I don't know what I like better, so I will post both...enjoy.
